Since taking office on January 20, 2025, US President Donald Trump has imposed an additional 10% tariff on Chinese exports on February 1 and March 4, respectively, which will have a significant impact on trade between China and the United States. HPS held a video discussion with Contractors' Warehouse on March 11, 2025 on Trump's new 20% tariff on China in 2025. During the meeting, the two groups of members had an in-depth and close discussion on how to respond to and resolve the trade impact of Trump's tariffs on China and the United States. At this moment when mutual help is needed, members of both sides actively raised each other's questions and solutions. Facing the unknown challenges ahead and for further cooperation in the future, HPS and CW will work together to move forward and strive to explore ways to reduce the impact of the new tariffs.
